Wake Up Make Up

It’s a beautiful Friday, the sun is shining and I’m tightly griping the Canon 70-200mm that I’ve hired for the weekend. I’ve always wanted to use this lens, so I hired it and challenged myself to find someone to shoot. The problem was, Saturdays weather showed 70% of thunderstorm induced rain. I wasn’t happy.

My phone beeps and I read an email from my people at Serenity London Management asking me to shoot a test. Now, this is great news. What makes it even better is that it’s indoors! I met with Sandie and Kat in the Vibe Bar on Brick Lane. These hard working ladies and I have collaborated on numerous occasions. You can see one of our shoots here
They were overseeing their event named Wake Up Make Up in the main room whilst I shot a natural light test in the other room. Remember the 70% chance of rain…….yeah, never happened. The sun was beaming through the windows which blessed me with great soft light to shoot with. We had a great shoot.
After we was done, I said my goodbyes, took some delicious vanilla cake and walked the baking hot London streets looking at the art on the famous Brick Lane.
